Gavin Seim from Ephrata has been ramping up a strong campaign for Washington’s 4th district Congressional seat from which Doc Hastings recently announced his retirement.
Ephrata, WA (Feb 14, 2014) – Gavin Seim, the liberty Republican who announced candidacy in December, has seen growing support as he speaks about liberty around the 4th district. The dynamic 29 year old is a portraitist and filmmaker from Ephrata, widely known as a speaker and educator. His run at the 4th district Congressional seat is starting conversations about liberty.
“Liberty is not the fringe. Liberty is the foundation” — says Gavin when asked about the growing movement of liberty minded Republicans in Washington State.
“It’s time for a new generation of candidates. Doc leaned towards big government and frustrated his district with a low Constitutional adherence. I will do the opposite. I have a family, a wife and three children. Their liberty is precious and we must elect representatives that will stand resolute for that liberty. That’s my focus.”
Key issues Gavin is addressing as he speaks around the District are:

Inspired by the likes of Ronald Reagan, Ron Paul, Ted Cruz and endorsed among others, by former Washington senator Harold Hochstatter, Gavin is a quick thinker and clear speaker who often brings conversations back to Constitutional foundations.
In a recent appearance on KIT 1280 in Yakima, Gavin emphasized the struggles that America is facing and the need to self-govern as the framers intended. He also addressed Constitutional law and it’s supreme authority over government.
“We need to hold our representatives feet to the fire and say – THIS is what the law says” Gavin noted — “The Constitution is an alarm that the wall of liberty has been breached and that alarm is ringing loud and clear. It’s our job as a people to stand up and say – You will NOT cross THIS liberty”
Gavin grew up home schooled in Ephrata, working in his family’s home improvement store before moving into the photographic industry, eventually producing wall portraits of families and landscapes.
Starting young, Gavin gained international recognition in his field and also become known as an educator and software developer. He currently owns Seim Studios in Soap Lake WA, which produces wall portraits, educational workshops and photographic tools. As a business owner and someone who is passionate about America, Gavin recognizes there’s a lot to do.
“America has loads of problems. The solution is to Take America Back. To stand not as a people ruled, but as a people governing government. Every seat counts and when I get to DC I’m not only going to vote for Constitutional liberty, I’m going to be vocal for it. We’re about to start a national conversation.”
No stranger to starting conversations, Gavin has gained attention as a Constitutional activist who is passionate about government accountability. He frequently speaks about Constitutional issues and is known to record live encounters with agencies like the Department of Homeland Security, as he discusses Constitutional law with viewers.
Gavin will be available for interviews and events and will be making appearances throughout the 4th district, which covers most of Central Washington including Yakima, Tri Cities, Wenatchee, Moses Lake and beyond. He is currently preparing for the primary election in August and encourages Washington residents to get involved in the 2014 election.
