A quick look at how Doc has been voting.

Limitless Debt Ceiling of 2014, House Vote 61: In Feb Doc voted with only 28 Republicans to remove the Debt Ceiling without condition. Opposed by nearly every State and their Representatives and slated to make our mismanagement ever worse, Doc voted YES.

Budget Act of 2013 – More Spending again: Despite his district’s opposition, Doc voted YES for this huge bill that would further increase Federal government spending.

2013, H.Amdt. 413 to H.R. 2397 – Approving NSA Spying: This amendment by Justin Amash would have drastically limited the NSA’s funding and ability to gather data without warrant – Doc against it.

H R 325 – More spending: Despite the outrage, Doc voted YES in early 2013, to raise the debt ceiling for the Federal government.

H.R. 2775 – Shutdown Cave In: The republicans conceded and Doc voted to end the 2013 shutdown and raising the Debt again in Fall 2013.

NDAA 2014 – Indefinite Detention of American Citizens: Despite the fact that indefinite detention without due process is still included in the NDAA, Doc AGAIN voted YES on NDAA in 2013.

2013, H R 624 – No More Privacy: Doc voted YES on CISPA. A bill that would give the OK for agencies like the NSA to have further legal access to  our private information.

2012, H.R. 5949 – No Warrant Needed: Doc voted Yes on the FISA. This authorized further warrantless surveillance within the USA, on US citizens.

H.J.Res. 117 – More Spending: Doc voted YES to this increase in federal spending in late 2012. The pattern is not new.

H R 2217 –  No Homeland Security Accountability: An amendment to this bill that would demand reporting of the massive uptake in ammunition purchases by the Department of Homeland Security before they were allowed funds to purchase more ammunition – Doc voted NO!

H.R. 1906: More welfare: Doc voted YES on this bill increase funding to various welfare programs and food stamps by an additional 11% over the previous year in 1999.

H.R 5005: Security for Liberty: Doc voted YES on the establishment of the Department Of Homeland Security and the TSA

2005, H.R. 3199:  Patriot Act Forever:  Doc voted YES to making the Patriot Act permanent in 2005. This removed the sunset date for all but 2 clauses.

2011, HR347. Free Speech. Doc voted YES on this bill that places restrictions on people protesting at federal locations if the Secret Service forbids it.
