Why is Washington on Fire?

A Nation of Lands & Hearts Laid Waste!

What I speak today is uncomfortable. But I have been given a command to say it. There will be accountability. This is not simply about fires. It’s about liberty, the results of sin and about true repentance.

Are these fires a result of Mother Nature, God’s judgment. Bad forestry practices because of a corrupt government that we allowed? The first reason is certainly not the case, but the others likely are. We are receiving the consequences for our total failure to stand against evil on every front.

The USA was founded as a nation of who’s faith rested on Jesus without government forcing that on anyone. What beautiful liberty. Today it has become a nation who hates God and with countless churches that hate his truth. A lukewarm church professes Christ with false platitudes rather than principled stands. They refuse to speak out and refuse to stand boldly as did the King of liberty. They use every excuse and copout they can find to do nothing at all. I will not be counted among that number. Will you?

I am not God and as such I do not fully know his ways or his judgments. But at times like this we must examine why God will not stand with us. It goes far beyond fires. The hearts of the people have turned against him. Our minds and actions are reprobate and vile. Are lands are not burning simply because God cast sent fire from heaven. Our judgment has truth in faith and in science. From our failure to stop corrupt government who mismanaged land and abused it’s inhabitants, to our failure to trust in an all powerful savior to deliver us.

The greatest power of man cannot overcome  the smallest act of God. Yet the the smallest act of God can overcome mans greatest power! — Falling rain can stop the most rampaging fire; much as true grace and the humble fall to our knees in repentance can stop the greatest of evil.

Despite what many liars say; these truths have nothing to do with government forcing Christianity on anyone. You cannot force faith and your government should never try. This is about our hearts and actions. For those Christians that would make excuses, beware. The covering for sin does not exist for those who refuse obedience to Christ. This included most of America and most of the so called church. Be not deceived. By their fruits you shall know them. Americas fruit is rotten, the church must step up and repent first, for judgment begins at the house of God.

Matthew 7:23: And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Many will be angry because I say these things. They will make excuses or use distractions. They will pretend that I dishonor the fallen firefighters when in fact i mourn for them. I simply speak of liberty and repentance. I am not hear to please you. Set aside your division and unite for liberty.

Until we have a fire for God, we can never have a fire for liberty. — Gav

II Chronicles 7:113-14: If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; — If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Psalm 68:6: God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
